  1. Safe injection sites doesn't reduce the problem it will just keep it going. If there are safe injection sites then people injecting need to be in a program where they ween off their drug+at some point are rejected from injecting at the site again to completely stop. This needs to be paired with 1. strict enforcement and actually prosecuting any drug users injecting in public so these people's only choices are to inject at these buildings 2. Programs to employ these people and give them knowledge and skills. Like for example, paying them to pick up all the garbage at the camps they live in/trash in the city.
    IMO.
    If Seattle city council would even do something effective.
