Dr. Daniel Brereton, Orthopedic Surgery

The mission and goal of my
practice is to get to know the individual, find out exactly
what their needs are, what their problem is, and develop an
individualized plan for this patient in order to help them
accomplish their goals that they have and resolve their
orthopedic or specifically their shoulder normal condition
that is impeding their goals. I’ve been a patient myself so I
know what it means to be a patient and to be nervous when
you see a doctor. So when I typically see a patient and
feel that they’re a little bit nervous. I typically will sit down and
talk to them about other things besides their orthopedic issues
until they feel more comfortable to talk about the
more difficult aspects of their problem. As a surgeon you
always want to be known for your good technical skills.
But I feel that most patients would probably know me for
being very nice, very friendly, and willing to listen to their
problems and taking a very individualized approach to
their care. The thing I love most about my job is helping
patients feel better and seeing them get better and being very
happy with the outcome that they’ve had.
