alzheimers and dementia | 10 Things to Do to Prevent Alzheimer’s Disease – alzheimers disease

10 Things to Do to Prevent Alzheimer’s Disease. The term dementia covers all the symptoms
of a decline in mental ability which interfere with the everyday life of a person. The most common symptoms include memory loss,
mood, and behavior changes, learning, and thinking issues. The most common cause of
dementia is Alzheimer’s disease. Other reasons include depression, medications,
thyroid gland problems, chronic infections, head trauma, vascular changes, Parkinson’s
disease, vitamin deficiency. If the cause of dementia cannot be treated,
more and more brain cells die, and the symptoms get aggravated. Yet, if the reason is treatable,
like vitamin deficiencies, medications, this set of symptoms known as dementia is reversible. Despite genetic predisposition, dementia might
also be a result of various psychological, environmental, and lifestyle factors. These are the risk factors for dementia: Head injuries,
Medication that contributes to developing dementia,
Alcohol use, Low physical activity,
Cardiovascular factors (high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes),
Impaired function of the thyroid gland, Vitamin deficiencies and poor diet,
Smoking, Here are ways to reduce the risk of dementia: 1. B Complex Vitamin:
These vitamins are extremely important for numerous cellular processes. Vitamin B6, B12,
and folate lower the levels of homocysteine, HC – a molecule which damages the vascular
system. When in high levels, it raises the risk of
strokes, heart diseases, and vascular issues which cause cognitive decline related to aging.
To lower its levels, you should take B complex with 500mcg of vitamin B12. 2. Control Your Cholesterol, Blood Pressure,
Fasting Blood Sugar, and Weight: The metabolic and cardiovascular health have
a huge impact on the risk of heart diseases, strokes, and dementia. Type 2 diabetics developed
in their midlife have 50% higher risk of developing Alzheimer’s disease compared to individuals
with normal blood sugar levels. 3. Fish Oil:
Low DHA (docosahexaenoic acid) levels lead to poor memory and cognitive impairment in
the elderly. It is found in fish oil, so consume this oil in order to prevent dementia. You
should take 1000mg of DHA daily. 4. Be Careful with Anticholinergic Medication:
Anticholinergic drugs act by hindering the parasympathetic nerve impulses. The automatic
nervous system contains two main parts, the first one being the parasympathetic nerve
system, which manages the activities which happen while resting. These nerves control the involuntary muscle
movements linked to lungs, urinary tract, gastrointestinal tract, and other body systems. Numerous prescription and over-the-counter
drugs such as sleep aids, allergy drugs, heart medications, and antidepressants cause a mild
to strong anticholinergic activity in the human’s body. It has been found that there is a relation
between increasing high-dose anticholinergic use and the onset of dementia. In case you
are taking these medications, you should consult your doctor in order to limit their use or
substitute them. 5. Vitamin D:
Numerous preclinical and animal studies have proved the link between the lack of vitamin
D and cognitive decline, which leads to developing dementia symptoms. When animals received vitamin D supplements,
they were able to prevent body processes that might cause Alzheimer’s and dementia. Vitamin
D successfully prevents these conditions. You should enjoy enough sunlight in order
to get the needed vitamin D amounts, and you can also take supplements. 6. Protect Your Brain:
You should always wear a helmet while riding a bike or motorbike, in order to prevent damage
to the brain. 7. Be Physically Active:
To strengthen the vascular system, you should move the body and keep your heart pumping
every day. If you are physically active, you will be able to prevent numerous chronic health
issues. Try walking, running, biking, or gardening at least half an hour every day. 8. Challenge Your Brain daily:
By challenging the brain daily, you will be able to delay the onset of dementia. You can
try crosswords, word puzzles, or learning a language. Researchers have found that bilingual adults
have delayed dementia signs by 5 years in comparison to those who speak just one language.
Studies have also shown that crosswords if done daily, delay the onset of memory decline
by 2 and a half years. 9. Stay Connected Socially:
To prevent health issues, always remain socially connected. In this way, you will avoid the
consequences of loneliness and isolation, and keep the mood and health at an optimal
level. 10. Quit Smoking and limit Alcohol Intake:
The excessive smoking and alcohol consumption have disastrous effects on health and lead
to various chronic diseases. One study has found that daily smokers have an increased
risk of Alzheimer’s disease in comparison to ex-smokers and non-smokers by 45%. Surprisingly, people who drink 1-6 drinks
a week have the lowest risk of dementia, and the risk is higher in people who do not drink
alcohol at all. This is due to the fact that moderate drinking
has slight antioxidant effects, especially red wine. If you start practicing these valuable
tips, you will successfully prevent dementia or at least significantly lower the risk of
its onset.

  1. I have heard that the inorganic minerals- in tap, spring, mineral waters are tha cause of most diseases including alzheimer's.
I do believe its true. Distilled water will cure most diseases. It cured my arthritis, kidney stones, constipation, diabetes, skin rashes, ulcers.
Utube: secrets the UN dosen't want us to know about distilled water.

  2. You forgot, do not take statin drugs, do not take statin drugs, do not take statin drugs. Eat plenty of eggs and also eat oatmeal. Take Tylenol on a regular basis, every few days or at least a couple of times a month. Statin drugs strip Milan off of V nerve endings in places that the body decides they need the cholesterol from. And that's frequently nerve fibers within parts of the brain. Cholesterol from eggs does not convert to serum cholesterol in the body. The serum cholesterol in the body is manufactured by your liver. If you think you might have a thyroid issue, 2 to 3 iodine drops daily in water should handle that quite nicely and they're easy enough to get at any natural supplement shop.

  3. My Aunt Florence has dementia. She used to drink Boone's Peach 🍷. She stopped after having a New Year 's party with 5 other elderly women. They all got drunk and one of them pulled the fire alarm. The fire people came and told the old ladies that they will be ticketed and taken to jail if they do that again. She never bought another bottle of wine and she became 🛌 ridden and boring. I think she was the one who pulled the alarm because none of her friends would talk to her again. So sad. Now she's in a memory care facility and she thinks she has money in a safety deposit 📦. Every time I visit she wants me to take her to the bank. She has no memory that Cresdan her home- care worker took her for everything she had. It was sad because old people are sometimes so offensive that their relatives can't stand them especially those who hoard their money 💰. The good news is she is almost 94 on April 28th. The bad news is that her daughter and granddaughter and great granddaughter don't live near her and she is sooooo lonely. She really has no friends anymore and all her belongings are gone. The people at memory care don't really interact. They kinda are just sequestered together so they don't get let lost on the street. I love her but I'm tired of her saying she wants out of that place. There is no place she can go. She wants to live to be 100. And her body might make it but her mind won't.

  7. Watch mercury neuro degeneration on you tube. Mercury in dental amalgams are the cause of Altzeheimers. The points they made are very good, but they never mentioned the role of heavy metals on brain damage. The IAOMT have done extensive research on the mercury on dental amalgams and are the unsung heroes of the people for their getting amalgams out of people's mouths. Autism is also a result of mercury damaged brains. Please click on the link at the end of mercury neurodegeneration and learn from the top scientists, who aren't paid by big Pharma. Watch their lecture s. Very enlightening.

  8. I praise and thank God. Pray to God to not get this disease. God Is always With us. God always Hears us and Sees us. God Created Jesus. Jesus is a great man God Created. Please only pray to God. This is what Jesus told people to do.
